In Allentown, PA this weekend, I saw my son’s drum corps perform at J. Birney Crum Stadium. You have to love that name.
I was hungry (regrettably) and bought an odd version of a pizza at the snack bar. They offered something called a “Patriotic Cookie” and I had to see what a patriotic cookie was all about.
You can see the red, white, and blue chocolate candies baked into the cookie. Does the brown color make it patriotic as well? I know there are some in this country who would argue with that, and that’s a shame.
