Protect America Act Roll Call Vote

You have to LOVE the names they give these totalitarian laws. Do they think they are fooling anyone with this nonsense? (Who am I kidding? Of course, they do, and they are!)

Since when does the Congress have the right to pass laws that violate the U.S. Constitution? (Oh, I suppose they can do whatever they like.)

Here’s a link to the Yeas and Nays of the House of Representatives.

I am trying to find the Senate vote, but from what I understand, it’s secret.

The irregular folks over at Irregular Times has posted a list of Senate Democrats who voted Yea on S.1927. As they say, when the Senate finally posts the roll call vote, it will be here.

Here’s a post by The Constant American Reference with their tally of the Senate roll call.

I found the following record, but I have yet to locate the roll call vote:

Measures Passed:

Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act: By 60 yeas to 28 nays (Vote No. 309), Senate passed S. 1927, to amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 to provide additional procedures for authorizing certain acquisitions of foreign intelligence information, by the order of the Senate of Friday, August 3, 2007, 60 Senators having voted in the affirmative, and after taking action on the following amendment proposed thereto:
